Spanish verb conjugation: decir

The verb decir has a number of irregularities:

• In the present tense, the vowel changes to i before an unstressed ending;
• The first person singular present tense (and thus the present subjunctive) are irregular: digo;
• The future stem is irregular: diré etc;
• The past participle is irregular: dicho;
• The preterite has a vowel and consonant change in the stem for all persons (dij-) and has unstressed endings -e and -o in the first and third person singular.
