Spanish Phrases: Making a ticket or restaurant booking in Spanish

Following on from our page of general Spanish vocabulary for making reservations, the following are specific to ticket and restaurant bookings. Much of the general vocabulary still applies, of course.

Travel: ticket reservations

The following apply specifically to a plane ticket etc:

quisiera reservar...	-	I'd like to book...
...un billete sólo de ida	-	...a single ticket
...un billete de ida y vuelta	-	...a return/round-trip ticket
...un boleto1 sencillo	-	...a single ticket (Mexico)
...un boleto redondo	-	...a return/round-trip ticket (Mexico)
...Madrid-Londres	-	...from Madrid to London
...para el diez de agosto	-	...for the 10th of August
...para regresar el día veinte	-	...to return on the 20th
prefiero...	-	I'd prefer...
...el vuelo/tren de las diez de la mañana	-	...the 10am flight/train
...la opción más económica	-	...the cheapest option
...viajar en la mañana/tarde	-	...to travel in the morning/evening
...un tren/vuelo directo	-	...a direct train/flight
...un asiento junto a una ventanilla	-	...a window seat

Restaurant bookings

Several of the phrases in the general phrases section above apply, plus the following:

quisiera reservar una mesa para dos/tres/cuatro personas	-	I'd like to reserve a table for two/three/four
para las siete/ocho (de la tarde)	-	for seven/eight o'clock (in the evening)
¿tiene una mesa...	-	do you have table...
...junto a la ventana?	-	...next to the window?
...en la sección de los (no) fumadores?	-	...in the (non) smoking section?
